Sandston Blend this Friday

This Friday, CrossRoads is going to the Sandston Blend, a coffeehouse for 20-30 somethings at the Sandston Recreation Center in eastern Henrico (near the Richmond Airport). It is an event put on by three churches in the area as an outreach to Young Adults (very similar to CrossRoads). It will not only be a chance to meet new people, it may also be a ministry opportunity, AND it is going to be a very fun evening as two Christian bands with ties to CrossRoads will be performing music: Aaron W’s band, True Liberty, will take the stage at 9pm. Opening for them at 8pm will be David W. and I performing under the name Heartsong. Please pray that the audience there will be receptive to our message (i.e. that we sound OK) while we glorify God with our songs.
We will meet at the Calhoun house around 7:15 and ride together over to Sandston for the show which goes from 8-11 pm. It is about a 30-minute drive. See you there!
Small Groups have started up and are going well. It is not too late to come out and join us if you are interested. Just come out to a Tuesday night small group (we meet at Ironbridge Church from 7-9 pm) and you will be connected.
Have a great week!
