CrossRoads is meeting at the Wells’ house for a pool party and grillout, from 7-9pm.  Bring a side dish to share.  Parents are encouraged to find childcare so that you can come out and connect with some friends!  The whole family is invited to Pocahontas State Park on Saturday, June 21st, for canoeing, games, and an afternoon picnic.  More to come on that.

Summer Small Groups will start Tuesday, June 10th, from 7-9pm.  Small groups will meet every two weeks during the summer.  We will have a new Couples Small Group as well as our traditional Girls and Guys small groups.  Here’s more information on what each group is doing:

Couples Small Group
Aaron and Bonnie will be hosting a new couples Bible study. The focus will be on getting couples to spend time in devotions with each other daily and then get together and discuss anything that was learned and any questions regarding the devotions, marriage, kids, etc. If you are interested in signing up, please email Aaron and Bonnie.  Several couples have indicated they are interested.  Parents, if you are unable to find childcare for your kids, feel free to bring them!  Contact aaronandbonnieinva@yahoo.com for more information.

Girls Small Group
We will not be going through a book this time around, instead we will be starting our own Blog site where each girl participating can contribute a blog, question or comment for the group to read.  This blog site will be accessible 24/7 which means you can read or add to it whenever you have time.  When God speaks…you can share your joy and excitement in the blog.  If you have a verse that speaks to you or if you have an urgent prayer request, fear, or struggle you can add it to the blog for immediate prayer.  We think this will be an amazing way to see God in our daily lives and to get closer to eachother by sharing our hearts in honesty.  And if it sounds “too intense” don’t stress!  We will have some fun icebreaker questions each week that will get you started!  When we meet together ever other Tuesday we will take prayer requests and share what God has been doing and how the blog (yours or someone else’s) ministered to you over the past two weeks.  (Even if you are unable to come for our Tuesday night meetings, we encourage you to read the blog as well as post when you have time!).  Concact johnandbec727@aol.com for more information

Guys Small Group
For most of us, our day-to-day life is mundane, dull, repetitive.  We commute to work.  We brush our teeth.  The world has veiled us with monotony and just plain “life”.  We fail to realize that we have been created by God into an amazing Story — you are a character in the most fantastic tale ever told!   When we think about our own story, we may see God as the author-an omniscient and omnipotent cosmic mastermind-but fail to recognize Him as the central character.  For most of us, we are living ordinary lives in the matrix when in actual reality God has created us for something big!  “You take the blue pill and the story ends.  You wake in your bed and you believe whatever you want to believe.  You take the red pill and you stay in Wonderland, and I will show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”  Join the guys as they go through EPIC, a book written by John Eldredge, and discuss the story God is telling and how you fit into the picture.  Contact caljoh316@yahoo.com for more information.
